General Likes: I love slice of life, small daily victories fic with an emphasis on character relationships (friendship and romantic) over fic where characters just react to the plot machinations happening around them. I'm interested in fic of all ratings.

Noah Sweetwine, Brian Connelly
I really love Noah and Brian's story, but I would enjoy seeing why and how they fit together more. (Brian's character always seemed a little flat to me, so fleshing him out would be lovely.) The instant attraction and explosive need on both sides is compelling, and I'd love to see any of it from Brian's point of view.
Practical Magic (1998)
Gillian Owens, Sally Owens, Bridget "Jet" Owens, Frances Owens
You don't need to use all the requested characters! I love the subtle ways and unsubtle ways magic is used in the film, and the chaotic, weighty love of family.
Sunshine - Robin McKinley
Constantine, Rae "Sunshine" Seddon, Yolande
I read this book for the first time in 2021 and loved it: the worldbuilding, all of Rae's intelligence and flaws, Con's unending bewilderment at the situations he keeps finding himself in.

• AU where Brian did see the message Noah sent him, and sends one (or more) of his own.
• AU where Brian and Noah went into the closet together at the party, or snuck somewhere else entirely.
• I am interested in post-canon - what happens when Noah goes to college?
• This is a canon that I would really love to see first time fic for - not necessarily explicit fic (although that's awesome, too), but the negotiations before they decide to have sex and how each of them deal with having it, and how it changes their relationship.

Some Possible Fic Ideas:
• I love the Owens family lore that's sprinkled throughout the movie, and would love to see more of it for other Owens ancestors. Where did the aunts get their grimoire? How did other Owens women deal with the curse?
• I love the small town setting, and would love to see more of the town and its inhabitants – especially how people treat Sally and other others after the events of canon. Does Sally get real friends? A slice of life fic that focuses on small town life/ small instances of magic in the modern world would be awesome.
• Spells fic – sort of like recipe fic but with the spells interspersed instead of a recipe.
• More on the aunts! Who were the great loves of their lives, and how did they learn their magic? Did they have personal experience with the resurrection spell?
• That house is amazing. After all the magic that has been cast there over the years, has the house absorbed some of it? How would the house interact with various characters - is it an old friend to the aunts, help raise the girls and then be comforting to Sally and challenging to Gillian, as each requires?

• Con shares more family history with Rae and it makes her want to try to track down her father. Constantine offers to help, and they have to travel together on a new adventure.
• A five things fic where Rae explores the items in Constantine's home and learns 5 important things about magic and/or Constantine.
• Constantine meets Miss Yolande.
• Constantine is never taken prisoner, and Rae never goes out to the lake. They meet when he goes to try a cinnamon bun, and no one in the place but Rae can tell he's a vampire. Rae thinks she might be losing her mind, since she can tell there's something off about the new regular, but maybe she's just too sleep deprived?
